Planets in signs and houses

"There is nothing in the three worlds for knowledge besides the hand, which is given to man and which can be read like a book." - Hasta Sanjeevani.

It is said that Palmistry has migrated from India to other countries like Greece, Egypt, Persia and Syria in ancient times. Samudra, deity of the Seas has first given this knowledge to the world, hence this is called 'Samudrika'. Sages like Narada, Valmiki, Garga, Bhrigu, Prahlada and Astrologers like Varahamihira have done a lot of work in Palmistry. Palmistry was discussed in the great books like 'Bhavishya Puranam' and 'Hasta Sanjeevani'. But some how Palmistry could not receive proper attention in India in modern times. It is given high regard in Western countries.

"...It has put me under a necessity of saying something about Palmistry, which is a judgment made of the conditions, inclinations, and fortunes of men and women, from their various lines and characters which Nature has imprinted in the hands" says Aristotle in a paper written by him in 350 B.C. Today Palmistry has completely transformed into a science, because of the extensive research done by the intelligentsia. Palmistry is a science of understanding the Past, Present and Future of a person by the pads and lines of a palm.

Palmistry revives its foundation on the experiments conducted by Desbarrolles and d'Arpentigny in 19th century. They made a life time study of Palmistry by collecting the imprints of Hands of thousands of people, and classifying them according to the nature of people and events which occurred in their lives. Then a hypothesis has been developed and verified with the support of further research.

Just like a doctor examines a patient and determines his disease by using clinical equipment, a Palmist can predict in advance the health state of a person by simply observing his hands. Noel Jaquin and Eugene Scheimann have proved this by their research. Mr Edward Kowalewski, a professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and former president of the American Academy of Physicians, says: "I try to watch the hands of the patients in my waiting room, because they give so many clues, both physical and emotional".

Micheal Faraday proved that electric charge is attracted by objects with sharp ends. This is the reason, when the child enters this world from his mother's womb, the life force from cosmos enters his body through the fingers of his hands and toes of feet. Mostly the life force enters through the index finger and goes up to the brain, where it influences the person's thinking and circulates in the body and finally comes back through the other fingers. The movement of life force is channeled by the lines of the hand. Every finger of the hand has been connected to a different area of the brain, thus activating different processes in the brain.

The pads below the fingers are the places where a number of nerves are bundled up. These pads are like capacitors to store the life force. The life force also carries the energies coming from the planets in the sky. And hence, the pads are named after the planets.

The answer for the question: How the hand reveals Past, Present and Future of a person lies in the statement by Frances Kiezle: "Hands are photographic plates upon which our brain writes our impressions". When an event happens, our brain first reacts for the event, and that reaction leaves a mark in our hands. By reading these marks, we can understand the Past of a person. The sub conscious mind always carries impressions from Past life, and these impressions bear considerable affect on Present deeds. The sub conscious state can also be studied by the hand, and hence the Future can be predicted.

Every hand is unique, and reflects the nature of the person. The pads or mounts of the hand show the strengths and weaknesses in the personality. The marks and lines in the hand describe a vivid picture of events that take place in his life. But these marks and lines may change from time to time depending on the planetary energies which vary from time to time. By a careful examination of all these factors, we can judge what the person is and what he has in store.
It is a super specialty hospital and there is heavy rush of people in the waiting hall. A middle-aged man is sitting with a gloomy face in the chair. He has a report in his hands and waiting to be called into the doctor's room. After 1 hour, he is sent into the room. The doctor examined the report and declared that the man has cancer in advanced stage and he may not survive. After 3 months, the man died.

Even though, now-a-days hospitals have latest lab equipment, the doctors are able to diagnose a disease only at its culminating stage. Can't we know the onset of a disease well in advance, so that we can get rid of the disease at its preliminary stage itself? Palmistry helps very much in such cases. Reading the lines of the palm can provide the information about the diseases well in advance, that is even difficult to diagnose using modern lab equipment in a hospital. See what the editorial of Journal of American Medical Association writes: "The human hand is a unique organ from which an extraordinary amount of clinical information may be derived".

Let us now try to understand how to diagnose some diseases by observing the nails of the fingers and the lines in the palm. Let us now try to understand how to diagnose some diseases by observing the nails of the fingers and the lines in the palm. The picture below will be useful to recognize certain Mounts and lines of palm.

Planets in signs and houses How to Read Palms

  1. Choose a hand. In palmistry, it is thought that:
    • For females, the right hand is what you're born with, and left is what you've accumulated throughout your life.
    • For males, it is the other way around. The left hand is what you're born with, and the right is what you've accumulated throughout your life.
    • But you can also choose whichever hand is dominant, which can be your present/past life hand and the least dominant hand could be your future life hand.
    • There are different schools of thought on the matter. Some say the left hand shows potential and what could be -- not necessarily what will be. And a difference in the hands could mean one is or is about to take action when it comes to their lives, changing it.

  2. Identify the four major lines.
    Identify the four major lines.
Identify the four major lines. There may be breaks in them or they may be short, but at least three of them are there.
    • (1) The heart line
    • (2) The head line
    • (3) The life line
    • (4) The fate line (not everybody has this)

  3. Interpret the heart line. This line can be read in either direction (from the pinkie finger to the index finger or vice versa) depending on the tradition being followed. It's believed to indicate emotional stability, romantic perspectives, depression, and cardiac health. The basic interpretations are as follows:
    • Begins below the index finger - content with love life
    • Begins below the middle finger - selfish when it comes to love
    • Begins in the middle - falls in love easily
    • Straight and short - less interest in romance
    • Touches life line - heart broken easily
    • Long and curvy - freely expresses emotions and feelings
    • Straight and parallel to the head line - good handle on emotions
    • Wavy - many relationships and lovers, absence of serious relationships
    • Circle on the line - sadness or depression
    • Broken line - emotional trauma
    • Smaller lines crossing through heart line - emotional trauma

  4. Examine the head line. This represents a person's learning style, communication approach, intellectualism, and thirst for knowledge. A curved line is associated with creativity and spontaneity, while a straight line is linked with practicality and a structured approach. The basic interpretations are as follows:
    • Short line - prefers physical achievements over mental ones
    • Curved, sloping line - creativity
    • Separated from life line - adventure, enthusiasm for life
    • Wavy line - short attention span
    • Deep, long line - thinking is clear and focused
    • Straight line - thinks realistically
    • Donuts or cross in head line - emotional crisis
    • Broken head line - inconsistencies in thought
    • Multiple crosses through head line - momentous decisions.

  5. Evaluate the life line. This begins near the thumb and travels in an arc towards the wrist. It reflects physical health, general well being, and major life changes (for example, cataclysmic events, physical injuries, and relocations). Its length is not associated with length of life. The basic interpretations are as follows:
    • Runs close to thumb - often tired
    • Curvy - plenty of energy
    • Long, deep - vitality
    • Short and shallow - manipulated by others
    • Swoops around in a semicircle - strength and enthusiasm
    • Straight and close to the edge of the palm - cautious when it comes to relationships
    • Multiple life lines - extra vitality
    • Circle in line indicates - hospitalized or injured
    • Break - sudden change in lifestyle

  6. Study the fate line. This is also known as the line of destiny, and it indicates the degree to which a person's life is affected by external circumstances beyond their control. It begins at the base of the palm. The basic interpretations are as follows:
    • Deep line - strongly controlled by fate
    • Breaks and changes of direction - prone to many changes in life from external forces
    • Starts joined to life line - self-made individual; develops aspirations early on
    • Joins with the life line somewhere in the middle - signifies a point at which one's interests must be surrendered to those of others
    • Starts at base of thumb and crosses life line - support offered by family and friends.

Interpreting the Hands, Fingers, etc.

  1. Determine the hand shape. Each hand shape is associated with certain character traits. The length of the palm is measured from the wrist to the bottom of the fingers. The basic interpretations are as follows:
    • Earth - broad, square palms and fingers, thick or coarse skin, and ruddy color; length of the palm equals length of fingers
      • Solid values and energy, sometimes stubborn
      • Practical and responsible, sometimes materialistic
      • Work with their hands, comfortable with the tangible
    • Air - square or rectangular palms with long fingers and sometimes protruding knuckles, low-set thumbs, and dry skin; length of the palm less than length of fingers
      • Sociable, talkative and witty
      • Can be shallow, spiteful and cold
      • Comfortable with the mental and the intangible
      • Does things in different and radical ways
    • Water - long, sometimes oval-shaped palm, with long, flexible, conical fingers; length of the palm equals length of fingers but is less than width across the widest part of the palm
      • Creative, perceptive and sympathetic
      • Can be moody, emotional and inhibited
      • Introverts
      • Do things quietly and intuitively.
    • Fire - square or rectangular palm, flushed or pink skin, and shorter fingers; length of the palm is greater than length of fingers
      • Spontaneous, enthusiastic and optimistic
      • Sometimes egoistic, impulsive and insensitive
      • Extroverts
      • Do things boldly and instinctively.

  2. Look at the mounts. That's what the fleshy bit below your fingers are called, on the opposite side of your knuckle. To make them visible, cup your hand just a bit. Which one is the largest?
    • A high Venus mount (the one under your thumb) indicates a predisposition for hedonism, promiscuity, and the need for instant gratification. A non-existent Venus mount indicates little interest in family matters.
    • The mount under your index finger is called the Jupiter mount. If this is well-developed, it means you are dominant, possibly self-centered, and aggressive. A lack of one means you lack confidence.
    • Under your middle finger is the Saturn mount. A high mount shows you're stubborn, cynical, and prone to depression. If it is low, it's an indicator of superficiality and disorganization.
    • The Sun mount is under your ring finger. You're quick-tempered, extravagant, and prideful if you have a high Sun mount. A low Sun mount means you lack imagination.
    • The Mercury mount is under your pinkie. If it's protuding, you talk too much. A low mount means the opposite -- you're shy.
      • None of this is based on science. And your hands are known to change throughout time. Don't take any of it too seriously!
  3. Examine the hand and finger size. Relative to the size of the body, some say that small hands are active and don't dwell on thinking about what to do. Large hands are on those who are contemplative and slow to action.
    • Remember, this is relative to the body. If you're 8 feet tall (2.4 m), you're going to have bigger hands than a 4 year old. It's all proportional.
    • What's more, long fingers may be an indicator of anxiety, in addition to being well-mannered, good looking, and delicate. Short fingers are found on those who are impatient, highly-sexed, and creative.
    • Long fingernails, on the other hand, mean you're kind and a good secret-keeper. Short fingernails mean you're critical and sarcastic. If they're almond-shaped, you're sweet and diplomatic.

Tips

  • Don't believe everything. You can make your own decision, no matter what.
  • Accept that palm reading is not always accurate. The fate of your life and your decisions should not be influenced by fortune-telling; rather, your own efforts and fortitude are what really help you to succeed in life.
  • Make sure the lighting in the area you are planning to read palms is good, because trying to do it in the dark makes it difficult to get a good read.
  • Don't judge others while reading their palms!
  • Don't concern yourself with the thinner and shallower lines. Only follow the main four that are deepest. Getting involved with the other lines could lead to unwanted confusion. Leave these lines for a professional.
  • Since palm lines change as you progress through life, palm reading is seen by many as an opportunity to reveal what's already happened, but not as a way of predicting the future.[5]
  • Note the texture of the hand, front and back. Soft hands signify sensitivity and refinement, while rough hands signify a coarse temperament.[

Planets in signs and houses Discover Wealth Lines on Your Palm

The Chinese believe that face reading should be supplemented by studying the extremities of the human body, more specifically looking for signs of wealth on your hands. Lines, marks and indentations reflect a person’s mind, body and spirit. Thus the appearance of hands, feet and head – the five extremities – offer clues to the destiny of any individual.

Lines on your hands reveal much about how successful you can be, including when success comes. Hands show timing of career changes, when you will ride high and when hard times come. The Chinese believe there is direct communication between your hands and your mind, body and spirit, so the lines and symbols on the palm offer remarkably accurate clues to your fortune.

As with face reading, feng shui and other astrological practices, the principles of hand analysis are related to the Five Elements. All hands are thus classified according to the elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Knowing your hand element gives insights into your personality and attitudes.

Slender Palms
The WOOD ELEMENT HAND
If you have slender palms, you will thrive in professions that require you to work near water. These are industries that enhance your chances of success. Thus they suit you best. WATER Industries include banking and financial services, consumer goods, import/export, trading, insurance, fishing and everything related to shipping, transport, forwarding and commerce.

Square Palms
The METAL ELEMENT HAND
If you have square palms, professions that require you to be in contact with earth suit you best. EARTH related professions include architecture and engineering and anything to do with real estate and property development. Road and infrastructure construction and building-related businesses such as factories to manufacture cement, floor tiles, wall tiles and roof tiles all fall within the earth category.

Heavy Palms
The EARTH ELEMENT HAND
If you have heavy palms, working in Fire-element industries is suitable. Thus restaurants and all entertainment type work would do just fine. Acting, show business, advertising, the food industry and electronics would all fall within the category that would harmonize with this kind hand type.

Elongated Palms
The FIRE ELEMENT HAND
People with elongated palms will do well in professions which bring them in close proximity with Wood energy. All agricultural-based ventures such as garden nurseries, plantations, furniture businesses, publishing, textiles, writing and so forth. Being near Wood will enhance the Fire energy of your hands, adding to your success potential.

Fleshy Palms
The WATER ELEMENT HAND
If you have fleshy palms, you will thrive in Metal-type professions. These include computer and electronic components, engineering and other hi-tech businesses. You can also find potential for advancement in IT, the legal profession, mining, as well as in the automobile industries. Working in a factory environment is also an excellent option.

LINES ON THE PALM
The three principle lines on your palm – the heart, head and life lines – are regarded as heaven, mankind and earth lines. When these main lines are deep, clear and have no interruptions, it is a sure sign of a smooth and successful life.

All secondary lines branching off these main lines are good when they run upwards and bad when they cross the main lines. Joining lines (also known as root lines) mean you have helpful people coming to assist you.

There are also distinct symbols of success to be found on palms. If your palms reveal tridents, fishes, temples… these are all very lucky indications. Roots and islands on the other hand are unlucky signs.

AUSPICIOUS INDICATORS OF WEALTH ON YOUR PALM

TRIDENTS are symbols of power and great good luck. When a trident falls along the fate line, it indicates a promotion or unexpected windfall in that period of your life. The presence of a trident on your hand is a sure indication that you will always be in a position of some power, and that you will become a very influential person. The trident indicates three types of luck – wealth, power and influence. When it appears as shown in the illustration, the trident indicates the fulfillment of your ambitions.

ISLANDS on your career line usually mean a dismissal, or a severe illness that cuts short your career. Or you could be a victim of vicious politics. The “island” is always regarded a very inauspicious symbol. Wherever it appears on the hand it always suggests some kind of obstacle during that period of your life.

The FISH is a sign of great prosperity and wealth. When this is found along your career line, it indicates that massive wealth comes from your work or business. The fish sign can also be seen in other parts of the hand and wherever it appears, it is an indicator of expanding wealth. The fish stands for abundance and in the old days, experts in palmistry would advise keeping fish to activate the signs of abundance shown in the palm. If you keep lively gold fish, this would activate the fish signs on your palms.

TRIANGLES are signs of achievement and success. On your fate line, they also signify a turning point in your career, something that changes your work direction for the better. Triangles always signify recognition of some kind, and if you are fortunate enough to have a triangle sign, you should feel very blessed.

GRID LINES are signs of being stagnant or stifled. When found along the career line, they could symbolize a jealous colleague politicking against you, a middle manager stifling your creativity, or an unfulfilling job.

SMALL LINES THAT CROSS signify obstacles and difficulties, especially when they cross the main lines.

THE TEMPLE is a symbol of great influence that relates to your own spiritual nature. The temple is quite a rare symbol and when it appears, it suggests a state of blissful realizations.

FEATHERY LINES indicate angst and worry. It warns that something may be on its way to causing you much torment in your job.

JOINING LINES also known as root lines symbolize helpful people entering your life.

You should read BOTH Hands.  For the Right handed person,
Begin with the Left Hand.  (for the Left Handed person, this is reversed.)

The Left Hand is the Hand "you were born with".
It repesents your intrinsic qualities, & innate abilities.

The Right Hand is the Hand is "what you have become".
It shows the development of your qualities, direction, & what has become actualized.

THE MOUNTS & the Fingers are associated with the Planets and the Days of the Week.

Each finger is associated with a planet. At the base of each finger is the mount, a raised pad of flesh, associated with the sign of the finger.  (Mount of Jupiter). The fullness of the mount shows how strongly that particular astrological sign affects the person. Look to see where strengths lie by looking at the length of each of the 3 divisions of each finger. These divisions represent SPIRITUAL, INTELLECTUAL, and MATERIAL development. (Jupiter, Saturn, Apollo, and Mercury.)
The INDEX FINGER  (Mount of Jupiter). A long index finger shows a boss, commander, a leader, someone who has pride, confidence, and much ambition. The index finger shows the degree of self-confidence, so from its size and shape can be judged things like leadership, ability or shyness, bossiness or timidity.

The MIDDLE FINGER:  (Mount of Saturn) A long middle finger indicates wisdom, independence, solitude, experience, shyness, and melancholy. The middle finger reveals the serious side of a personality. How it is developed reveals reliability, talent, responsibility or frivolity (depending upon the size).

The THIRD FINGER: (Mount of Apollo) A long third finger shows the love of beauty. The Ring finger is a symbol of creativity and artistic qualities. A strong development goes with a talent for art, music, visual art, etc.

The PINKIE FINGER: (Mount of Mercury) A long pinkie finger shows a sharp, quick, clever, shrewd mind. A person with this, is found to be friendly, good with people skills, and outgoing. The little finger represents sex and communication. All sorts of sexual and romantic qualities are shown here, as well as the ability to speak, write or express oneself.

The THUMBS:  Show will power: Powerful, domineering people have big thumbs. Soft spoken people generally have little thumbs.

FINGERTIPS: The actual shape of the is important. Squared off tips show a precise, tidy mind. People with round-tipped fingers are relaxed.

The PROPORTIONS:  Between the finger lengths and the lengths of the palm are indicative of the amount of  how much impulsiveness the person demonstrates.
Longer fingers (as compared to the length of the palm) show carefulness.
Short fingers belong to someone who is impulsive.

The Mount of Venus:
The thumb and the base of the thumb comprise the Mount of Venus. This Mount comments on emotional and erotic drive & shows warmth, kindness and affection which are in the persons attributes.

If the Mount is full, firm, and round: this person proves to be a great friend, great lover, and full of kindness.

If the Mount of Venus is thin, dry and leathery:this is a person who is cold and shallow. This person tolerates very little.

Often the Mount of Venus is patterned by many vertical and horizontal lines: This person hides feelings very well. On the surface everything seems fine, but underneath, there are many emotions that run deep.

The lower Mount of Mars:
Between the he thumb and the Index finger is the lower Mount of Mars above the Mount of Venus.  If normal shows preseverence,If the Mount is full, firm, and round, this person is fearless and arrogant, . If it is very flat that points to hesetancy or cowardice.

The upper Mount of Mars:
Beneath the Mount of Mercury above the Mount of the Moon; concerns moral attitude. If normal shows pragmatic well balanced character.. If the Mount is very prominant it indicates a potential for cruelty. . If it is very flat that indicates a weak resolve and people who shift for convenience.

The Mount of the Moon:
Below the pinky finger and the upper Mount of Mars near the wrist is the Mount of the Moon.
It reflects intuition & creativity;   If normal indicates a healthy fantasy life. If the Mount is full, firm, and full it indicates difficulty seperating truth from fiction., . If it is very flat that points to lack of imagination.

The LIFE Line

The Life Line is one of the four major lines found in the hand. contrary to popular opinion it does not indicate the length of your Life.It indicates the path of your life, and the level of vitality that you put into your life.  It places the course of your life, emotions, illness, time or age frames, and personality.
If your life line is joined with the HEAD LINE, examine the length of the two lines that meet to determine the amount of time that you have been emotionally dependent upon your parents. If the lines joined are relatively short, then independence was taken on at an early age, and if the lines join for a long section, you may be still very much attached emotionally. If the two lines never are in contact at the beginning, this indicates a very independent person.

The life line begins on the side of the palm that is under the index finger. It usually has the same starting point as the head line. It makes a somewhat circular curve around the thumb. The life line is the only line one on the hand which can be divided into an approximate timeframe of years and age. Age can be determined by dividing the lifeline equally into three sections beginning at the top of the line. (where it starts with the head line). The first section (including the section which connects or doesn't connect with the Head line) represents the first 25 years of the lifetime. The second section represents approximately ages 26-50, and the third section represents ages 50 and up. A deep, clear life line running smoothly through the full length shows a rich, healthy life. Many chains, or a weak line shows probable poor health. If the line is fractured at the end in many chains in the third section, you should be warned of bad health in late years.

(A parallel to the Life line, on the side of the Mount of Venus, shows useful luck and natural vitality working for the subject. This is always a good sign. )

On most palms you will notice that there are many tiny lines which run from the line of the Head to the Life line. Each of these indicates a goal of some kind that will be attained. If you work out the above time-scale carefully, you should be able to tell, with reasonable accuracy, when a major event will happen. About two-thirds of the way down the Life line will, at times, be a triangle formed by two short, minor lines and a part of the Life line itself. If there is a triangle there, then it is said that a talent of some sort is possessed. There is some kind of an art form which the subject can gain considerable personal satisfaction. An angle or sudden change of direction in the Life line shows that there will be a change of course in the life. The approximate date can be calculated by using the same method stated above.

A branch in the life line indicates that, at the point in time where the branch occurs, the persons' life can take one of two major courses. Age calculations from above can be used at this time as well. A break in the Life line usually means that there will be problems. Check and see if the lines break in both hands. If it does break in both hands, warn the subject to take care in their lifestyle. If a new line starts out of the break, or if there is a parallel line to the Life line, then the trouble will be overcome.

The HEAD Line:

Refers to Direction, career, mind.  The line of the Head shows, by its length and depth, the intellectual capability, memory retention, and degree of analytical ability. of the subject. A long, deep and clear Head line shows a clear, strong intellect. If the Head line is relatively straight, that indicates prudence.  A line slanting  downwards indicates creative thinking.  Some readers see it as high intelligence that can be used for questionable goals. They need to maintain discipline on their mind.  But that you should be careful not to cross such person. A number of smaller lines branching off the Head Line, indicate distractions that hamper intellectual productivity.

The HEART Line

The Heart line indicates the persons emotional capabilities: capacity for love, and friendship ties. Look at the length and depth of the line to determine the strength of your emotional and intuitive capabilities. The longer the line the deeper the emotional reserves. A straight line indicates a dispassionate nature.  A strong upward  curve shows a strong erotic drive.  A deep Heart line belongs to someone who is capable of feeling both the good and the bad, the happy and the sad of life. Emotions are very important to this person, and hunches are generally very accurate. A heart line with many chains belongs to someone who has been unlucky in love. Each chain resembles an obstacle in love given to the person.  Smaller lines branching off the Heart line indicates multiple relationships:  upward branches are positive romances, with downward branches troublesome.

The FATE Line

The Fate line, also called the line of Saturn,  is sometimes confused with the Luck Line.  This line concerns the patterns of advancement in ones life. The longer and deeper the line is the greater the chances for gratification in life.
A Fate line starts at the wrists, indicates that wealth or position in life will be inherited.  Starting low in the hand indicates an early choice of goals.  If it begins further up it suggests later decisions. For a person with a weak, or even non-existent line, denotes an independant or self defined approach. The Fate line can show insights into flaws and influences, not apparent on the surface. Smaller lines branching off the Fate line show influences from the direction they follow. A line deep and unbroken to the heart line, then breaking or disappearing shows grave dissappointment in love. A Fate line ending at the Head line, indictes that negetive thinking gets in the way of the individuals direction. Sometimes from being too cautious opportunities are lost.

The LUCK Line, also called the Line of Appolo, is not found in everyone's hand. The length and depth will show how much good fortune and luck the person has.  If the line starts low in the hand it indicates the person has always had a lucky streak.  If the line is deep, long, and strong, that person will find that they are extremely lucky.  If the line is frail or non existant his person makes their own luck. Rewards will come through hard work and dedication. Like the Fate line, branches can point to other influences.

The HEALTH Line. also called the Hepatic line, or line of Mercury is consideredan annotation to the Life line.  It goes from the base of the pinky towards the center of the lower palm. The longer the line the more robust the health of the person.  A very short line is the sign of medical problems. but the absence is also viewed as favorable, healthy, especially regarding the digestive system.

The METTLE Line, also called the Line of Mars, goes inside the lifeline towards the the lower palm.  This line designatesth individuals approach to adversity.  The longer the line the greater the persons resolve.  A short line shows bravery when it is called for.  No line indicates reliance on others.

Planets in signs and houses Are you a gifted healer

If you have more than 3 parallel lines under your pinkie finger, running towards your pinkie, you are what is known as a “gifted healer” in IIHA hand analysis and as having “medical stigmata” in general palm reading terms.
If this is you, you need to read this post.  You can see that this looks like here. http://handanalysisonline.com/giftmarkings.php (Cut and paste if the link doesn’t work. Also scroll to bottom of the post for an example.)
Essentially, this is the mark of the personal growth consultant. It indicates psychological insight.  How this is expressed depends on your other resources and temperament.  If you have this marker it means you have the capacity to make a space for others to heal themselves.
Just your presence/being there allows others to be transformed. How you express this gift marker depends on other factors in your personality.
Perhaps you do this with touch, or simply by listening (being present) or by offering wisdom (when asked!). For example, someone with a very Earth hand and Earth heart line (non expressive) might take a friend fishing for the day. No word is said the whole day but at the end of the day, the friend
turns to him and says, ‘Thank you so much! You really helped me today!’
So, perhaps you heal by helping another person become more grounded. You help to ‘earth’ the other because you yourself are so earthed. Naturally, if you have a fire hand and a talkative Water (big heart) heart line, you’ll be expressing this gift in a completely different way!
NOTE: It is important to realise that it is not your task to fix or heal anyone. You are simply the vessel that facilities this process in others. As soon as you try to ‘fix’ anyone you are judging them as un-whole. This causes disconnection and even distrust or anger.
How to hone your skills:
1. Fully acknowledge and accept yourself. The more you comfortable you are in your own skin, the more willing and able you are to accept others ‘warts and all’ (unconditionally). The less internal contradictions you have the less threatened you will be by other people’s experiences and behaviour.
2. Know what your own values are. If you know what is important to you, you become less dependent on others for praise and evaluation. You also become less likely to have your boundaries violated or to do the same to others (eg. trying to fix them). Helping others become conscious of their values is a powerful way to help them strengthen boundaries, heal and set meaningful goals. You can only do this if you have already made the journey
yourself.
3. Become a master listener. This is the simplest (and in some ways also most difficult) way to live this gift marker. Becoming an interested listener is an art. Our minds race far faster than human speech and one needs to learn skills to keep one focused on what the other is really saying. Try to anticipate what they might be trying to say and then double check
if you were right or not. What is the hidden message behind what they are telling you? Is their body language, voice tone and speech congruent? Essentially what people need is to be heard, without feeling they are being judged. Paraphrase what they tell you asking, ‘if I hear you correctly, you said……’. Besides paraphrasing, try also to mirror the other person’s voice tone, vocabulary, speed of speech and body language. If you would like to develop counselling skills more fully, one way would be to study the techniques of Carl Rogers, the great humanistic psychologist of the 1980s. Most counselling courses these days are based on his ‘client-centred’ approach.’ You can take a very inexpensive half-year on-line module in
‘person-centred’ counselling using these techniques through UNISA (University of South Africa online courses). Essentially, the skills are how to maintain continuous positive regard for another and still stay congruent with your own belief system.
4. Become more intimate with yourself. This is similar to points 1 and 3 above but refers more to your connection with source, the extra psychological insight that you have coming to you. Do you listen and act on inner guidance? Do you trust your intuition? Do you stay with your own truth irrespective of what others are saying?
5. Surrender. This is something most of us would rather avoid that own up to but it is central to being a gifted healer. Surrender has to do with aligning your will to the will of God/Source. Mostly we are terrified to lose control of our own lives because we fear lightening bolts, poverty, isolation and other impossible tests of faith related to previous experience.
What does this marker look like?
This is a series of parallel stripes below the pinkie (Mercury) finger
Earning your stripes
4 stripes means you are a gifted healer
6 stripes you are required to make this gift central to your life.
8 stripes or more – you are a healer of healers. If you are not using this marker you will certainly be in an extreme form of the penalty phase.
How do you know if you are using this gift enough? (The penalty phase)
How much is enough is very individual. Your most intimate relationship is your barometer. If you are experiencing blocked intimacy or partnership breakdown then you are not using this gift enough.
Good news/bad news
Everything is energy, blocked or unblocked. The good news is, you know what to fix to make the energy related to intimate communication flow in your life again.
